No pre-drilling of hole required. Self drilling point cuts right into 3/8" to 5/8" thick drywall. Simply screw anchor into drywall, then insert screw through fixture into anchor and tighten. Deep coarse threads create strong engagement and hold. Replaces plastic conical anchors where more strength is required.
